I have said it before many times here on FR-we are in GREAT peril of utter tyranny by having Google in charge of what information people can find and view for decision making.
There are four billion people on Earth who use computers, and of those, the vast majority of them use Google to get information.
Google shapes information. Watch this video by Bill Whittle where he discusses all of them, Facebook, YouTube, and Twitter, but he rightly reserves the most damning and chilling criticism for Google:

Out of those four billion computer users, how many of them understand Google's goal is to modify their behavior to "reflect Google's values as an organization".
That is an exact quote from their video.
They want to change people's behavior by modifying and shaping what they "allow" them to see, using "inputs" of all kinds from facial recognition and traffic pattern monitoring to purchases and surfing history. They want to use AI and "computer learning" to figure out how to shape people's behavior in subtle yet...SIGNIFICANT ways.
Their goal is to modify behavior in people who use Google to "reflect Google's values as an organization". And they want to do that without the end user knowing they are being manipulated. That is their goal. In their own words.
"...We have already seen how the petty and obvious censorship on the part of Twitter and Facebook can and did steal America's free choice in the 2020 election. That's peanuts. The real goal is to eliminate all Free Will without your ever realizing it. The Internet presents your mouse finger with a set of choices. Whoever controls those mouse clicks...controls you..."
We are in grave danger, allowing Google to be our "repository" of information. And for a LOT of people, getting information from Google is a daily occurrence.
Google should be boiled in oil.
