Biden felt three times as he scaled the stairs to Air Force One at Joint Base Andrews.
Biden tried jogging up the stairs to board Air Force One en route to Atlanta and fell hard on his knee.
When he arrived in Atlanta, he visited the Atlanta headquarters of the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention to thank public health workers amid the coronavirus pandemic and claimed that “science is back”, though he did not state where or how the science went missing.
Biden wrapped up his pep talk to the agency with a lengthy anecdote about meeting with then-VP Xi Jinping, the point of which was that when Xi asked the then-veep to define America, he replied “Yeah, in one word. And I mean it — in one word: possibilities.”
Remarks from the White House: “I was with Xi Jinping — China. I spent more time with him, I’m told, than any world leader — because when he was Vice President, I was Vice President,” Biden said recalling his meeting.
“His President and mine wanted us to get to know one another because it was clear he was going to become the President. And I spent — traveled 17,000 miles with him in China, in the United States, and Asia generally, and met with him, I guess, they tell me, 24, 25 hours alone, just me and an interpreter, and he and an interpreter. And, by the way, I handed in all my notes. (Laughter.) Minor point,” he said.
“But all kidding aside, he asked me — we were on the Tibetan Plateau. He asked me and said to me, ‘Can you define America for me?’ Biden remembered. “And I said, ‘Yeah, in one word. And I mean it — in one word: possibilities.’ Possibilities. That’s what you guys believe in: possibilities, based on science and hard data.
“And so I just thank you for not only your intellectual skills, but your heart — your heart, your determination. Thank you, thank you, thank you,” he said before saying that Harris was the smarter of the two of them.
Biden then chuckled while telling Kamala that she’s “smarter” than him, prompting Harris to respond with a cackling laugh after remarking, “Well, there’s not much to add to that, Mr. President”.

Do you really think that Mitt Romney would not vote to have Hillary Clinton installed as Vice President? You would have to be delusional. There are at least 3 “Republicans” who would. In the House, all the republicans who voted to impeach President Trump would vote for Hillary. All Kamala Harris will get in a short presidency is the distinction of being the First Woman President (of color). They may let her serve for 100 days just like Joe. Look for Joe to exit around Day 103. Kamala will probably exit around the 2-year mark and then Hillary will get 10 years in White House which will probably be the rest of her life.

Please note that I prefaced my comments with “if the Republicans are smart...” The House is pretty much irrelevant in this scenario; the dems have the votes. The question for Republican Senators would be, do we want to control the Senate and be able to stop the Biden/Harris/Chinese agenda? If Republicans flip, they flip but everyone will know where they stand.
I cannot imagine why Harris would pick Clinton to be her V.P. She’s young and has lots to live for! Why would she pick a woman in her 70s when the democrat leadership is geriatric as it is?
The problem for Harris is that I don’t think either Nancy or Schumer have much if any respect for her. They’ve been around, she’s a newcomer. They will try to run the show and I kind of doubt she’ll willingly go along. I don’t see a scenario where she willingly leaves office early. Is someone going to make her an offer she can’t refuse? If so, then we have officially become a banana republic. (I realize many, including myself kind of think we already are.)

My quick search showed....If there is no vice president, either because he is not present in the Senate or because the office is actually vacant, then a tied vote in the Senate just fails.
As one of the Senate’s constitutional officers, only the Vice President has the authority to cast a tie-breaking vote.
So Harris is smarter than Biden. Doesn’t necessarily mean much.
