That’s always the question.
On Jan 6, we were not outraged when a government employee murdered Ashli Babbitt. The general response was: “Sorry! Sorry! Sorry! We are bad! So bad! Never should have happened! Sorry! Sorry!”
If we are serious, we might want to rethink that sort of thing and maybe try to rally a little more next time.
That won’t happen anytime soon because we have too much to give up. I’m 51, have an awesome job and getting ready to put kids through college. I’m wanting to retire. I’m comfortable.
Now, if something were to happen where comfortable folks like us were made to be very uncomfortable, well, that might change things.
