The ABC, CBS and NBC evening news shows have been behaving like President Joe Biden’s drones by shielding his administration from any news that could damage his image on the economy.
Bloomberg News released a story yesterday headlined, “Biden Eyes First Major Tax Hike Since 1993 in Next Economic Plan.” The story said that, unlike the massive $1.9 pork-filled stimulus package, “the next initiative, which is expected to be even bigger, won’t rely just on government debt as a funding source.” Rather, “key advisers are now making preparations for a package of measures that could include an increase in both the corporate tax rate and the individual rate for high earners.” Biden’s new tax hikes would be on top of the $60 billion in tax hikes Democrats already snuck into the stimulus bill, despite reported hesitancy “to raise taxes amid [a] pandemic.”
CBS Evening News and NBC Nightly News ignored the story entirely. Meanwhile, ABC World News Tonight defended Biden by reiterating a dubious talking point from his campaign that “no one making less than $400,000 a year will ever see their taxes go up. Their focus is solely on the most wealthy and large corporations.”

so glad that we’re just peanuts to this high earnings and corporate world...I mean just enough peanuts to NOT get a dang covid check.....they can’t have it both ways or can they?
The IDJIT* puts people out of work. The IDJIT* allows foreign invaders to swamp our soil. THEN the IDJIT* wants to tax the corporations.
The cost of the taxes will be placed on everything anybody buys.
Here comes tthat hyper-inflation.
Oh, and by the way, I still have yet to receive my $600.00 McConnell check!!!
something is wrong with FR search. Search for “tax” fails to find this.
This is where we need better educated citizens. It might sound good to liberals to say that they are raising taxes on corporations, for example, but too many people don’t understand that the price we all pay for goods and services we buy goes up when the. Corporate taxes go up.
If only Pampers came out with Camo Diapers for the Military Moms out there that can’t find a sitter when War breaks out.
I’ll try to remember to GAS about a tax hike on millionaires while I’m remembering all the times the GOP didn’t do anything for me. How about national concealed carry Reciprocity? Hearing Protection Act? Illegal immigration?
I’ll try to remember that when the 2A is being gutted because feckless Republicans chose to hold it hostage rather than protect and preserve it.
Raising the capital gains rate to 50 or 60% will sure take the wind out of the market’s sails. And the flight of manufacturing and financial services will ramp up thanks to corporate taxes. Jao Xiden’s puppet masters are hell bent on killing the great economy that President Trump built.
CBS and NBC whore for the democrat party... whoring keeps the 'leaks' and news packets coming in...
Perhaps you failed to scroll down far enough. It states in bold letters, "Limitations: Only article titles can be searched and words with three or fewer letters are not searched at all."
Three letter words used to work in FR search, and I think this is a brain dead “limitation.” I can understand that searching for “the” “and” etc. does not make sense. But can’t search for “FBI” “tax” etc?
Most people also don’t realize “corporate taxes” also means ANY small business that is incorporated. Not just huge corporations. The local plumber with 8 employees...hardware store...veterinarian...you name it. Anything incorporated pays the corporate tax rate. Tbat’s the main reason obama’s 35% corporate tax rate was killing small businesses, once combined with expensive out of control regulations.
The same can be said with shoplifting, as well. Yet the unknowing won’t complain, there.
One might almost suspect that they want small businesses to die. Psaki will claim that Biden has a plan to “save” small business but won’t reveal the strings attached.
