Funny, I seem to remember a quote from Lincoln himself warning of Fascism.

I think it’s a real problem. I don’t know what language could have been put into the Constitution to prevent this outcome. It seems almost inevitable.

In spite of the jumbled sentence, that is a good quote.
The primary differences between Fascism and Communism:
(1) Fascists understood that capitalism produces a much higher standard of living than Communism.
(2) Most human beings, including Fascist leaders, are instinctively loyal to their country or geographic area or ethnic group, unlike Communism, which has a messianic international flavor to it.
Big Business is not your friend. Go local whenever possible.
