Following outrage from progressives in the military towards Fox News host Tucker Carlson for contrasting China’s push for a “more masculine” military against the U.S. military’s focus on inclusivity for women, the official Marine Corps Twitter account joined in the criticism, sharing an image of a female soldier carrying another soldier with hashtags aimed at Tucker Carlson and Fox News.

On Tuesday evening, Carlson noted how in January the Chinese Ministry of Education released a proposal to cultivate students’ masculinity amid a Chinese military buildup, then played a March 8 clip of President Joe Biden introducing two female generals he approved for promotion while noting how much the military is working to accommodate women, including providing specially-designed body armor for females, flight suits for pregnant women, and updating hairstyle requirements.

Last year I was invited to attend the Natl Guard physicals with my therapy dogs (proven to reduce blood pressure from what I was told).

Most of the chicas there looked pretty capable of carrying bodies around. Just my 2 cents.

There is the fighting military and the Republicans is this woke group. The Trump haters. Obama people I suppose. The fighting military is busy. This is all distraction. They don’t care what Tucker Carlson says good or bad. Mattis is either an Obama general who has been detracting from the CIC, Trump. Or he is a psyops distractor. I have to say though, I am still amazed that a marine I know -a misinformed, Ben Shapiro fan- has chosen to speak out against Trump in solidarity with Mattis.

I trained PFT for the military, the last 12 years of my career with the army and miloitary troops for over 29 years.

For the army, it starts with Basic Combat Training fitness tests. These tests have lower minimum performance requirements for female recruits. Women up to age 21 must complete a minimum of 13 push-ups, 47 sit-ups, and run two miles in 19 minutes and 42 seconds or less. Older women have slightly lower minimum requirements. The sit-up and running requirements are “similar to those for men,” but the push-up requirements are less than half what a male soldier would be expected to do. Upper body strength problems.

For the past stationed Army Physical Fitness Test, male soldiers between 17 and 21 years old must complete 71 pushups within two minutes, run two miles in 13 minutes, and complete 78 situps to get perfect scores. Female soldiers in the same age range must do 42 pushups, complete the two-mile run in 15 minutes and 36 seconds, and also do 78 modified sit ups to get full credit on each event.

The new standards that went into effect in October of last year are different in many ways. But the same situation still exists. Even though the PFT was originally based for fitness the new one is based for job skills not combat. So the requirements of an admin troop and that of a field comm unit troop will be different. But it is still gender based and now doesn’t take into effect that an admin troop will not be any good in the field in combat…no matter which gender and especially females since they are twice reeled in from heavier needs.

Number of Events 6

Events Pushups, sit-ups, two-mile run Strength deadlift, standing power throw, hand-release, pushup, sprint/drag/carry, leg truck, two-mile run

Minimum score to pass 180 (60 on each test)

Based on physical requirements of job.

This won’t fly well, but I really don’t want to lose a bunch of superior war fighter men, because we have filled the war fighting ranks with females. Even if they are well trained.

It is not yet be recognized by the pansy general staff, but this is a real disaster at some point.

I have even seen female soldiers break down emotionally, and refuse involvement in attacking known deadly enemy targets from UAV’s.

There are certain exceptions to the rule, but this will greatly reduce our potential in future land battle space operations.

These foolish policies literally and significantly, increase the chances of enemy land victory over US forces at some point.

Yes females, best save that last bullet for the blatantly obvious most important person in your life.

I believe we need to train all our females to fight the best. However, if uniformed females truly loved our nation, they would not be putting their own arrogant narcissistic feminism above that of our nation’s existence.

Now it consists of women, and men who think like women.

It is by far the best article on the subject of women in combat. It was written by a female Marine. It is VERY well written and unsparing.

When I read it, I found it to be depressing, sad, brilliant, uplifting, and ominous all at the same time.

• Depressing because it is true: There are AMERICANS (even, apparently, some in this very forum who feel that excess bloodshed and defeat are worth the political feminist goals) who are pushing this agenda with no regard to national security, battlefield readiness, or the lives of the men and women who will be sacrificed when the bullets begin to fly.

• Sad, because this is where we are: most men in the military are bending over backwards not to have their voice heard saying: "This is a bad idea. We cannot integrate women into combat units without severely degrading readiness and the ability to perform the mission.

• Brilliant: If I can take the money passage from her article:
  • "...Meanwhile, the argument to maintain the combat exclusion makes itself easily in every aspect.
    
    Including women in combat units is bad for combat, bad for women, bad for men, bad for children, and bad for the country.
    
    The argument for the combat exclusion is provable all the time, every time. Political correctness has no chance against Nature. Her victories are staring us in the face at all times.
    
    
    • The men just keep being able to lift more and to run faster, harder, and longer with more weight on their backs while suffering fewer injuries.

    • The combat units have needs that women cannot meet.

  That pretty much sums it up.

• Uplifting, because this Marine who wrote the article is a Marine, and has demonstrated and successfully argued that there is a role for patriotic, dedicated women who want to serve their country as she did, and her service means no less because she wasn't kicking down doors. She is an American Woman, and her heritage and ideals have more in common with the tough as nails frontier women who conquered this country with their men. She makes the feminists look like the petulant, spoiled, anti-American no-loads that they are. This sailor salutes her.

• Ominous, because this movement, like the liberal cancers it shares all qualities with, is not going away. The linked article describes this perfectly, and why it is inevitable. Because military readiness and capability is being sacrificed on the altar of an Orwellian concept that men and women can do the same tasks exactly the same. This altar will run red with the blood of both men and women, and we are going to suffer lives needlessly ended, battles lost, and a national humiliation the likes of which we haven't seen.

It won't happen now, and it won't happen during some years of the peacetime military. But when we get to a point we are fighting an enemy who is going to be evenly matched with us, we are going to lose, because they cannot be stupid enough to follow the path we have. And when it happens, the people who will scream the loudest in protest, are going to be the successors to the people who made this all happen, since they will likely be kicking back somewhere, comfortable in their Monday morning armchairs, talking about how it wasn't the emasculation of the military combat units that caused this, it was that we didn't spend enough time, money, and effort to make it work.
