Joe Biden's Stimulus Speech Was a Complete and Total Failure
National Interest ^ | 3/12/2021 | Conrad Black

Posted on 03/12/2021 4:45:44 AM PST by Onthebrink

President Biden speaks frequently and presumably with sincerity about his goal of national unity. His comparative invisibility, somnolent manner, and reluctance to interact even with the docile national political media (which conducted his campaign for him last year), assure a cooler temperature and calmer political atmosphere than was possible in the pyrotechnics and abrasions of the Trump era. This phenomenon is reflected in the heavy declines in viewership of the news channels-over 40 percent on CNN, similar drops on MSNBC, and rather less than that on Fox News. Trump was the great newsmaker, both for those who loved and those who hated him, and the few people in between, and his departure, as it was intended to do by those who voted against him, has made the U.S. a more serene country politically.

But since nearly 48 percent of American voters supported President Trump, national unity will not now be advanced by implicitly denigrating him and failing to give him any credit where any informed person recognizes he deserves some. National unity will not be achieved by defining it as the near-half of the electorate that voted for the ex-president renouncing their expressed political preferences and embracing what they voted against four months ago.

“President Biden speaks frequently and presumably with sincerity”

Citation needed. Even the frequently part is questionable. The sincerity? Lol.

Is unity with these people even desirable? The Left is a demonic freak show. No thanks.

It was a terrible speech.

Glorified Dr. Fauci, no credit to President Trump. Repeat same over and over....”GET A VACCINE, GET A VACCINE” “MAYBE WE CAN HAVE A BBQ ON THE 4TH OF JULY”

Horrible speech.

“President Biden speaks frequently and presumably with sincerity”

I have a translator for this.

President Biden speaks frequently = mumbles to himself constantly.

presumably with sincerity = He believes his own BS.

Yep, Facebook has no liberal or news organization posting his speech or fact checking it like they did with Trump. After a Trump speech you had liberals and supporters posting and sharing the speech within seconds of it ending. Last night after the speech and this morning, crickets. It is no longer the main story on Fox News. This must scare the shit out of the Dems.how long can this charade go on?

He said nearly 48% of the American voters supported Pres. Trump.

I’d say the real number was 58%-60%.

Joe Biden himself is a total failure, as a decent human being.

According to who? Not the media who is charged with bringing “news” to the people. Was there any fact checking and going back to the video archives to point out the falsity of his claims?

“Stopped reading after the first sentence.”

You must be confusing “presumably with sincerity” with “honesty and sincerity.”

I have metered broadband. On programs like this I crank the video quality down to 240 because the audio it what’s important, not the video.

But for this ramble, I jacked the video up as high as it would go, 1080. Biden’s eyes were pure black. He was jacked up sky high on something. Like an automaton, laid back, no drive in his voice.

Did anyone watch the whole mess? Any gaffs?

His first “real” press conference should be interesting. Promised by the end of this month.

That’s right. Biden was not presidential material on his best day.

Of course conservatives consider it a failure. The trick is to get libtards to see the truth. I doubt such a thing is even possible.
