I too watched every cartoon on TV growing up in the 1950s and have NEVER heard of or seen "Mammy Two Shoes.

Mammy Two Shoes was in Tom and Jerry. She wasn’t in very many episodes, they stopped using her in the early 60s. By the 70s they started cutting her out, dumping her episodes entirely, or replacing her. The fact that in 1961 they could look at that character and admit that was some racist #$%^ is really all you need to know.
