I don’t know if the Rocky Mountains of CO counts as “rural flyover country” or not. We just calls it mountains.
But, as rocky as it is, it would take 5-10 years to dig a small pool if I got to work on it right now.
I’m in the ozarks so it’s not too much different. The back of my property is more rock than soil, from gravel size up to 4 foot boulders.
