Now and then, an incident like this highlights that there is something fundamentally wrong with our immigration system. Out of incompetence, corruption, and expediency, both parties have failed to establish the kind of long-term, structural changes needed to protect the dignity and safety of foreign nationals and American citizens alike. Thus far, President Joe Biden seems intent on exacerbating the problem.
Former President Donald Trump attempted to effect change in the system Biden now oversees. But his agenda suffered setbacks due to poor personnel choices and a lack of institutional knowledge. For example, following Kirstjen Nielsen’s departure as Homeland Security Secretary, Trump appointed Chad Wolf to lead the agency. Wolf, a former immigration lobbyist, neglected to push for more funding to complete the border wall, used his discretionary powers to approve thousands of extra worker visas during the pandemic, and funded sanctuary cities that stand in defiance of federal immigration law.

The political party administering the immigration system is dehumanizing.
is security at the airport a mess? customs at the airport a mess? I just don’t get it, if I try to walk past security or customs at the airport I will get arrested. Why is that different, and not dehumanizing?
The Biden Administration is systematically violating and not enforcing existing immigration laws that they swore to uphold. How will this lawless cabal be held accountable?

It is dehumanizing. It was weaponized more than 50 years ago. It’s purpose is to replace the population. Much the same thing is being done in Europe for the same reasons by the same people. Using immigrants as a weapon is dehumanizing. The elites don’t see others as fully “human” anyway, so it’s a natural for them.
I'll say it again, declare a moratorium on all immigration until/unless the covid virus is resolved AND the WOT is over!!
The WOT should have been over a long time ago. When your unconstitutionally declared war is older than some of the soldiers fighting it you're doing something wrong.
The immigration system was broken by bipartisan agreement to not enforce the laws and borders.
The illegal alien inundation was INTENTIONAL.
The system was not designed to serve the interests of foreigners, it was designed to serve the citizens of the USA.
You can’t just show up at the border and expect to be admitted.
The U.S. Immigration System is just fine only if they would go by the law the hacks make it look like Swiss cheese.
