The Intercept is reporting on something CTH predicted after the 2020 election, Mitch McConnell is working with Kentucky legislature to plan his departure before the end of his term.
This is not a surprise. McConnell is fully exposed now; people can finally see through his schemes and understand his motives and maneuvers.
(Via The Intercept) Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell has compiled a short list of successors in his home state of Kentucky, preparing for the possibility that he does not serve out his full term, Kentucky Republicans tell The Intercept.
The list is topped by his protégé, state Attorney General Daniel Cameron, and also includes former United Nations Ambassador Kelly Craft, whose billionaire coal magnate husband is a major McConnell donor, as well as Kentucky Secretary of State Michael Adams, a former McConnell Scholar.
Under current law, the power to appoint McConnell’s replacement falls to Democratic Gov. Andy Beshear. But new legislation McConnell is pushing in the Kentucky General Assembly would strip the governor of that power and put it into the hands of the state GOP. (read more)

“report”... how an idiot puts out their opinion.
LOL!
Hey, since mainstream media does it everyone else can lie this way too!
(Get them clicks baby!)
“McConnell has compiled a short list of successors “
He owns the seat?
Mitch is hearing footsteps. Hoping to avoid being tried for treason.
Dominion voting machines on off year governor election. EVERY REPUBLICAN CANDIDATE WON EXCEPT BEVIN, ADOLF ANDY WON BY 4000 VOTES. Bershear was highest vote getter for dems, 125000 votes less than Republican candidates EXCEPT for Bevin. Little Andy stole the governor seat.
Because the prior governor, Matt Bevin, became an enemy of McConnell's ever since he was the Tea Party challenger to McConnell in the 2014 Senate primary.

Wow.....So many folks to blame and point fingers at but to me, especially here in Georgia, there’s only one to blame, the Republican’s in the state legislature for allowing this nonsense. Only two reasons for it....they’re all complicit or scared.
Crazy that a small handful of cowards and corrupt individuals have set this country on the path it’s on now, when they had the power and duty to do something about it.
McConnell is such a POS. If I remember correctly, Bevin was willing to make some tough decisions for the state. Ones that others would have kicked down the road, i.e. McConnell, and instead chose to try and solve the problems.
Does it matter? Just rearranging the deck chairs on The Titanic.
That’s why I didn’t want to look it up. So few Senators I’d spit in their mouths if their guts were on fire...
