Cedric Richmond, a senior adviser to President Biden, says the administration is “going to start acting now” on reparations for African-Americans.
In an interview with Axios on HBO, Richmond reminded viewers that Biden continues to support House Resolution 40, a piece of legislation resubmitted last year by Rep. Sheila Jackson Lee (D-TX) which would create a “reparations commission.”

He added, “We have to start breaking down systemic racism and barriers that have held people of color back, and especially African-Americans who were enslaved.”

However, they may just be doing what they always do: Promise but never deliver. It’s worked for them in the past.

If this becomes a reality, no matter what dollar value they decide to pay out, it will be immediately denounced as not enough.

How the hell is this going to work? Average black people are going to get nothing. All the money will go to the likes of Rev Sharpton. And however much it is, it will never be enough. As soon as they get one payment, they will come back to the trough for more.

And White lawyers will litigate the cases, settle and get the lion’s share of the money. Even if reparations happen the White liberal will still get over on the duped Black Democrat AGAIN!!!

😕 cra-’64 perhaps? $40 trillion in combined costs over 60 years or so? Now there has to be equity as well. Never enough I guess.
Whatever number they come up with will not be considered enough by the dems.
To avoid this they will need a formula. They will likely estimate the lifetime equivalent wages of each slave increased by inflation. At least I can see some sort of formula for that piece.
But then who gets the benefits? That’s where it all falls apart.
My guess is each family that believes they descend from slaves applies for the payment. Just like they don’t want voter id they will assume each application made by a person whose race has been established as “black” or “african american” is legit and the feds will pay out.
Will Obama get reparations?
Here’s what needs to happen:
Native Americans, Irish-Americans, and Asians who were interred during WW2 should demand reparations too. Let’s see how the Dems handle that. Use Cloward-Piven against them.
