I wasn’t much of a Seuss reader as a kid. Mainly because the Suess books in the libraries I visited were constantly out on loan. But I’ve seen enough of his art to know that nothing he draws looks like anything on earth except in the loosest possible sense. So how could they say for certain any two Suess characters were from Africa unless there was a sign attached to them saying so?
Someone please tell me what happened to the fish in Cat-1, and why is he not in Cat-2. Did cat have sushi?
