“The record of the Waco incident documents mistakes. What the record from Waco does not evidence, however, is any improper motive or intent on the part of law enforcement.” – Joseph Biden, U.S. Senator, Delaware (D) and member of the Senate Judiciary Committee, which issued the Waco Investigation Report
The siege of the Branch Davidian compound in Waco, Texas, is an important event in American history because it directly led to one of the biggest terrorist attacks on American soil – the bombing of the Oklahoma City Federal Building. It’s not necessary to defend this act of terrorism to understand why the entire freedom movement of the time was so incensed by it. Indeed, it stood as a symbol of federal overreach and the corruption of the Clinton Administration.
It’s important to separate fact from fiction when it comes to the siege of Waco, just as it is important to do so with the siege of Ruby Ridge or the attack on the American consolate in Benghazi. With every event, it is important to stick to the facts and what can be extrapolated from them to make the strongest argument about what went wrong and why, and what could be done differently in the future.

On the very best day of Joe Biden’s life he was a dullard and he’s been a POS every day of his life.
It was a typical government clusterf***. Small potatoes compared to what is in the future of the country on our current trajectory.
Waco and Ruby Ridge alone would be worth a quick Impeachment in today’s environment. But then, we’re talking about a Dem.
So there's that.
Citation, please?
Regards,
I don't know where that book is now, but I am sure some website might have the information.
It has been my contention since that time that no matter what anyone says, Hillary was the one who ordered it.
Waco Massacre and Ruby Ridge were the First signs of Deep State Criminalization
There was an article from the Sunday supplement of the shopping news I used to subscribe to, back in the 1970s, listing all the satanic holidays. There was a required sacrifice by burning every second Tuesday.
Pretty strong evidence, huh?
Regards,
The American sheeple have turned the Nation over to communists who have far darker intentions than the government did at Waco...
Whatever they do during these coming years, the sheeple will do as they did after Waco... Absolutely nothing!
The sheeple know only how to:
Bow down!... Obey!... Snitch!...
Oh yes... They also know how to hold out their hands and beg for more $1200 checks
Yes, it is.
The writer apparently knows nothing about CS (Crowd Smoke grenades), “tanks”, and “deadly flashbang grenades”.
CS is a non-lethal tear-gas grenade. It might become deadly if it was used in a very small confined space where there was no air ventilation, but I’ve been tear-gassed/pepper-gassed as a journalist covering demonstrations and they are not deadly.
“Tanks” - I saw armored cars/vehicles and a tank-chassie with a ramrod on it for smashing down the outside walls of the compound. However, I don’t recall any M4 Shermans, Pattons or Abrams at the scene, or 75 MM or 105 MM cannons, etc.
CS grenades do not contain “cyanide”, a poison/gas, as far as I know. Maybe the author could explain what he meant by that.
The story of the 4 ATF agents who were killed is very interesting and its needs to be further explained by someone who read the autopsy reports on what caliber bullet killed them.
Hyping a serious tragedy like this and getting key items wrong can destroy the credibility of not only the writer, but also of the publication that published this.
Comments from those who know or remember more about what happened at Waco would be welcomed here for clarification.

Yes, it is an M-1. Hadn’t seen that picture in about 30 years. I remember the Ramrod tank which went thru the aluminum walls of one building.
Thanks for finding this. Talk about the govt over reacting. However, I don’t think it fired its’ cannon. More for show or just plowing thru buildings.
It was conventional ammo that started the fires which killed most of the people inside the compounds.
A tragedy all around.
Bunch of adrenaline cowboys. All they needed to do was follow David Koresh every Tuesday to the marketplace and arrest him when he bought groceries.
The local sheriff knew David Koresh and told the feds he could ask him to come in (before the attack) and he would; they declined. At the time it seemed to be common consensus that the ATF needed to justify its budget for the stormtroopers; I guess that isn’t PC any more.
Republican George H W Bush was president during the siege at Ruby Ridge
It is a carefully parsed statement.
It is also, likely, a lie.
Was the assault on the Davidians, the last day, part of the standoff?
Because there is very clear FlIR footage of government agents firing into the burning buildings when the FBI lead government team was assaulting the buildings with tear gas and armored vehicles.
So, using Clintonian parsing, the shots may not have been fired by the FBI, but by other operatives; the shots may have been considered not to have been fired "during the standoff", but during the last assault.
The FBI has a long history of lying about such things.
I saw the FLIR footage. It was made into a documentary that toured the country for a while.
The Clinton Administration killed the Davidian's for political purposes.
No, it was the tear gas grenades which were fired into the building.
Early tear gas grenades were known fire starters. The FBI manual specifically warned about them, and the danger they presented when fired into buildings.
Those were the grenades the FBI fired into the compound the day of the last assault.
The FBI denied it; but photographic evidence showed remains of those specific grenades at the compound after the fire.
