Having solved all of the nation’s problems, Democrats have now introduced a bill that would ban former President Donald Trump from being buried at Arlington National Cemetery.

The bill – known as H.R. 484 or the No Glory For Hate Act – was introduced in late January by Rep. Linda Sanchez (D-CA).
The Act’s intent reads to “prohibit the use of Federal funds for the commemoration of certain former Presidents, and for other purposes.”
It is designed specifically to prevent “the interment or inurnment in Arlington National Cemetery of any former President that has been twice impeached by the House of Representatives.”

I am convinced that if a foreign army came to our shores and stated “we’re invading your country because we hate Donald Trump”, this government would be okay with it.

Of the 38 deceased Presidents, only two are buried in Arlington National Cemetery—Taft and Kennedy. It’s hardly the standard thing to do.

This is called a bill of attainder; directed against one person, these are illegal under the Constitution. Goes back to the days of Henry VIII - some noble landowner made him mad so he had him executed and his lands confiscated by the crown. Then again, I doubt that many non-military veterans want to be buried there - of all people, the thorough incompetent Robert McNamara is buried there in a prominent spot near JFK.
Only two U.S. presidents, William Howard Taft and John F. Kennedy, are buried at Arlington National Cemetery. So it’s not like there’s a huge demand to be buried there if you were a POTUS.
What if the Ayatollahs demand his extradition to Iran?
Why don’t they just strip him of his citizenship, confiscate all his wealth, and that of all his family members, and deport the lot of them to a deserted and desert Pacific island with no airport?
Anything less is half-measures, and they’ll never be satisfied.

There are two presidents buried in Arlington - Kennedy and Taft. It’s not like it’s traditional, or that Trump has even expressed an interest in being buried there to begin with.
