Thirty-four states now also allow people to carry concealed in bars.

Carrying in a bar is not a great idea for some.
Not happening in New Jersey....(legally)
China joe the gun Nazi and his mattress back assistant are going to hate this information.
For some, going into a bar at all is not a great idea. After a few their inner jerk bursts out.
Although legal in Hawaii, Hawaii does not issue concealed carry licenses. You are supposed to bleed out while the cops take twenty minutes to show up.
Places off-limits when carrying: 1. An establishment licensed to serve alcoholic beverages on the premises if the establishment derives more than 50% of its sales from alcoholic beverages
Carrying in bars? Now all they’ll need is swinging doors at the front entrance.
Hasn’t stopped me yet..... the only places I leave my gun at home is if when I went to a concert and they were going to make me go through a metal detector. My little court house has the sign and I still have it in my purse when I walk in. Same goes to my credit union, stores, restaurants. I figure what they don’t know won’t hurt them.
I’ve carried my gun in every bar I’ve ever ben drinking in since I got my CCW in Colorado.
Which reminds me. Time to schedule for my renewal.
Technically legal, IF you have a CC permit, which the polices refuse to issue. Only cops are allowed to be armed wherever they please.
Darn right. I live here. This is the most anti-2nd. Amendment state in the nation.

In Wisconsin you can carry in a bar or restaurant legally, but cannot drink. Take a sip of your companion's wine, that's a class A misdemeanor.
Next door in Illinois you can carry only if the business' revenue is derived less than 50% from alcohol. And you cannot carry anywhere if while under the influence of alcohol, other drug or drugs, intoxicating compound or combination of compounds, or any combination thereof, under the standards set forth in subsection (a) of Section 11-501 of the Illinois Vehicle Code. Many will tell you that's .08, but if you're involved in an incident don't count on the authorities considering your .05 to definitively mean you're not under the influence. Particularly if you have any other legal medication in your blood. Personally I don't carry in an establishment if I'm planning on drinking.
If it’s concealed, just STFU. I have a willie that I don’t waggle about in public.

Hmmmm. So which is it?
My wife and I both have our concealed and were visiting a establishment a few months back with friends and it’s a local place with a lot of the same people that go there and a fellow walked in wearing a long duster (we live in Florida and it was 90 something degrees at 10 pm) and had already had a few and had a few more and went to the pool table trying to get people to play pool with him. Someone finally went over to play and I watched him. He leaned over to take a shot and was carrying outside the waist and looked to be a 45. He starts arguing with the guy because the guy made a good shot and didn’t call the pocket. I told my wife it was best we leave. After he was done he kept walking by, I mean going out of his way to have to walk by all of us because there was chics around. The whole excuse me ma’am with the hat tip. He finally stopped at the end of the bar trying to talk it up with the ladies, and didn’t care if they were with anyone or not. One would run him off and he would move on down. He was persistent. We left and he had pulled up in a older Ford escort with likely everything he owned in it. I guessed he was a rodeo guy. As we were leaving the cops were pulling up. Nothing in the news papers but I had “that feeling”. Anyone else ever get that feeling and be right.
I really hate seeing articles that say all 50 states allow...
NJ is never in this group.
1. All 50 states allow concealed carry. NJ technically does but we all know in practice nobody other than a select few connected people will ever get a permit.
2. All 50 allow concealed carry in restaurants that serve alcohol. NJ does allow this if you have a permit. See #1.
The list goes on...
Really? Try it in New Jersey sometime. Unless you have permission from the almighty state, possessing a firearm will get you jail time. What confuses them about “shall not be infringed” anyway?
