What can actually be substantiated by evidence is bad enough. Why add claims to your argument that have basis only in rumor? Your case would be strengthened not weakened if you concentrated just on what is proven. By including very unlikely rumors with no basis in fact you turn some people away from the cause altogether. Surely that is not your goal.

Feb 13... Just felt the longest, strongest earthquake in Japan since we moved here. A magnitude 7.1 just east of Fukushima. We live about 300 km away from it as well, but the house really shook. Hope people are OK and safe up there!
