That results in less money being earned, and everyone becoming poor.

I don’t have much discretionary income anyway (raising a family, paying for a home) but long before this “fundamental transformation” of our country I’ve had a de facto boycott of leftist cities (I live near several in NJ, a dozen miles west of NYC). I don’t buy gas there, get fast food or shop in any way - there is no reason to sink my money into these dumps where the Dem administrations clearly view me an the enemy.

Fortunately work hasn’t been interrupted; the real losers in this whole “fundamental transformation” has been those very cities, and that is why the 2020 election outcome beforehand - the wealth redistribution required to maintain them HAD to be kicked into high gear. Not only was the White House necessary, but control of Congress was as well - recall Obama’s first two years, where things were rammed through (ObamaCare in particular) that would have never passed with popular support.

Joe Biden lost the election; never stop repeating that.

I’m impressed you acquainted much with any leftists anyway; the environment became so toxic since 2016 I find them unbearable. And, yet, our son’s mother-in-law facetimed with my wife and made a comment about her governor in Michigan is doing a great job working against Covid. Of course, son’s MIL is retired with her husband and they are both collecting pensions on a regular basis so she sees no trouble in the economy.

The development of the toll did not occur through the last several election cycles or an overnight implosion.

For decades the voter has been choosing "It's better to burn out, than fade away" economic policies via their representatives who placate the majority through irresponsible spending and debt generation. The result is the central banks reacting to what the people want, not the other way around.

Labor unions are one cause of outsourcing and the voter the other cause through electing globalists minded representatives (New World Order mentality loudly came from Republicans). However, we kept electing these politicians because they were the lesser of two evils.

Entitlement and discretionary spending is out of control which has always been driven by the voter electing Republicans and Democrats who don't do a darn thing to stop it. Why should they?

Voters just want their free gibs, COLA, and "compound interest" via debt policies, not primarily the tax payer because those entitlement and discretionary programs are not fiscally balanced. What happens to countries or any entity that incurs out-of-control-debt? One side effect, out of many, is the the monetary policy goes all to hades, so just because we "owe most of it to ourselves" doesn't mean the situation is devoid of severe consequences.

Some social and work acquaintances, who know I’m conservative, went full TDS on me last year (leading up to the election). One, sadly, was an old h.s. buddy — family man, businessman, freedom lover, supposedly Christian, but with TDS.

It is creepy; my co-workers know my views, and we’ve reached an understanding. Strictly business, maybe weather (though that is politicized now as well); won’t even discuss sports anymore.

Many Americans are ignorant sheep spoon-fed TV and smartphone “news” stories; pathetic. They deserve the misery and lies, but unfortunately we get them as well.
