Whether or not to publish an obituary is a family’s private decision, as are all funeral arrangements, if any at all. For example, I don’t wish to have a funeral myself. Some people seek attention and/or comfort during tragedies, and some mourn in private.
Why would the family not have an obit for a worldwide martyr and make this more questionable?
