In a video conference call with Democratic leaders in New York, Secretary to the Governor Melissa DeRosa offered a stunning admission that Governor Cuomo’s administration lied about the actual COVID-19 death toll in the state’s nursing homes.
The top aide apologized for the deception, saying that the Cuomo team was paralyzed with fear that the actual numbers would “be used against [them]” by federal prosecutors.

But the admission is backfiring in a major way, and New York lawmakers are calling for Cuomo’s impeachment.

Yeah, right. Democrats are untouchable.
They’ll just blame Trump and the press will run with it.
Like they’ll ever convict him. Criminal prosecution is the only viable path to punishing him, and that’s not likely to happen either.

Thousands of people died because of his direct order. He should not be impeached. He should be perp-walked out of office and jailed.

Proof the government would only do a few things and do them well. These things are less likely to come up but then the answer is always more government.

Simple after they served a search warrant and gotten all your electronic goodies, they would run the history and if you posted here you would be headed to the electric chair.
So why impeachment? This is conspiracy to cover up mass murder implimented by Cuomos administration; a sick “final solution” to pensioners and medicare users. I mean if the Gov shot someon in his office, would they impeach him or arrest him?

Had Donald Trump done this and contributed to the death of thousands he would have been legitimately impeached for not only the policy, but the lying and cover-up.
This will be interesting. I know little about the politics of New York, but talking to a friend who has lived there for a long time Cuomo supposedly has made a lot of enemies (even among democrats) because he is the west end of an eastbound horse and there are a lot of very angry people in the state to include democrats over Covid.
