Nah, dwarfed by eastern front stuff. As a matter of fact, if you take the eastern front out of WWII and set it on its own, it is the greatest human conflict of all time. The fighting on the eastern front was of antitanic scale.

Mr. GG2 was on the Golan Heights with the IDF as a guest of the Israeli government when the first rockets started coming over. They handed him an AK47 and asked him if he knew how to use it. He said yes so they told him to get into a hole and watch a nearby wire and kill anything that tried to cross. They came back for him 24 hours later. When it was all over he walked down off the heights with the army and past all the burnt out tanks with dead Syrians hanging out.

Agreed, some of the biggest battles of the war were on the Eastern Front, including tank battles.
