I disagree. The tank battles of North Africa, the Italian Campaign, the hedgerow fighting in Normandy and the Ardennes in 18944 were far large the the Eastern Front.

I apologize, I did not mean to come across as a smarter than you type comment. When I first delved into the eastern front I was shocked by what I read, I had no idea of the scale. History seems to gloss over the eastern front, maybe because very few lived to tell the tale, and maybe because it truly is a bad guy vs bad guy story.
