Representative Liz Cheney (R-WY) claims there is a “massive criminal investigation underway” to determine if former President Trump is guilty of inciting “premeditated” violence on the Capitol.

Cheney made the startling assertion during an interview on “Fox News Sunday” with Chris Wallace.

I don't know, but apparently there is a robust effort already underway to primary her. The only thing that will save the GOP is President Trump's leadership and ability to play kingmaker.

Vet the candidates thoroughly for skeletons and MAGAworthiness, and then get behind that ONE candidate.

Of course, depending on what the GOP does in the next few days re: "impeachment" will determine if the party deserves to exist any more not. I say it doesn't, but will consider Trump's opinion on the matter sometime next week.

Nobody can incite violence that was plotted elsewhere and was going to proceed no matter WHAT President Trump said or did not say.

The assault on the Capitol was going to go forth whether Trump had held a rally or not. The objective was to intimidate the members of Congress so there would be no credible objections raised to the official count of the Electoral College votes. And Mike Pence fell for it.

I hope the folks in Wyoming are drafting, ready to pass and enacting a law that allows for the recall of any elected official. And make it retroactive 4 years.

Set a high bar, but enact it anyway. Something like 80% of voters have to support it or something like that.
