As if PRESIDENT Trump had any real say in the appointments. The UNIPARTY forced those people on us.

If we were to get to an Article V situation, I think the concept of Confirmation should be re-examined. I haven't thought about it much, but I think the President should always get any appointee he wants, unless the nominee has already been found guilty of a felony.
Getting a good Attorney General, or a good Supreme Court nominee should be a slam dunk, but, currently, we can only get the people the Deep State is secretly putting forward. Not cool.

I read that at the Senior Bush’s funeral, Jr. Bush convinced Trump to appoint Barr. Anyone else read that? I have no doubt the Bush family are major Swamp residents. Yes, I read that somewhere. Conservative Treehouse, I think.

Frankly, this is no surprise. All one needs to do is watch what he did — not what he said! Actually, even some of what he said was a tell.
I voted for Trump. I wanted Trump to win. He accomplished more than any president since Reagan (one of my heroes). But, like any human, he had weaknesses and strengths. His weakness was his personnel picks. In the end that contributed greatly to his downfall.
The deep state got him (an us)!
