PAY ATTENTION – Those Still Advocating Against a Third Party Need to Move to Acceptance Phase, GOP is NOT Recoverable Posted on February 7, 2021 by Sundance Wyoming GOP representative Liz Cheney, a Decepticon of the highest tier, appears smugly on Fox News for an interview. As much as the interview itself is insufferable in its disconnect many people need to watch and accept.

Cheney ramps-up the attacks against President Trump and his supporters. Keep in mind that Trump holds more than 85% approval within the party, yet Cheney and the Decepticons just don’t care; they hate anyone who does not facilitate their power demand. They hate you.

They hate us.

Additionally, two-thirds of the republican house conference voted to keep Cheney in her position. There is no way to reconcile the disconnect between what the elected GOP are doing against the will of the majority unless you accept they just don’t care. Trumpet! ---- The GOP doesn’t care what you think about them… they are the second wing of the UniParty vulture.

Stop being a battered conservative and start accepting that two-thirds of the republican party do not want you in the room. Remind yourself of this example when the insufferable apologists try to tell you a third party is not needed. The republican party must be destroyed or we will continu

I think this is probably correct. You must lose some seats, which makes it very difficult because the DemoKKKrat then gets entrenched.

It will take a lot less time than for a third party to do anything. As I keep showing, the history of third parties is that they have zero chance due to patronage/spoils. If you look at the history of the Populists and Reform, really the only two national third parties, their pattern due to this phenomena is exactly the same:

They fail on their first attempt, then on their second, their share of the vote drops by half; then by the third, they are gone.

The only two “third” parties that survive more than two cycles have been the Socialists and Libertarians. Both of them reject patronage/spoils, neither ever exceeds 3% of the vote (I think usually they are at 1% or under, but maybe Gary Johnson in 2012 was higher), and NONE, EVER elect anyone to any position outside the presidency. I guess you can argue Bernie Sanders, but he is in and out of the DemoKKKrat Party. Perhaps Ron Paul back in the day. And these guys are totally impotent as forces to give away jobs or party positions, hence they are/were relegated to nothing other than as cranky outsiders.

But you do NOT see successful “slates” where these parties-—even if they wanted to (and Libertarians don’t want to) ever give away party or government jobs. Without that reward over a 10-12 year cycle. the adherents simply vanish because they have no impact on anything-—not on the party and not on the government, because they have no rewards to bestow.

The Republicans avoided this in 1855 because they were the only anti-slave party that had positions on all other issues and because the Whigs had completely disappeared. No Whig even ran in 1860-—but Lincoln would have lost if the South hadn’t split its vote three ways.

We don’t need a third party. What we need is a true second party! The GOP is not a vehicle for conservatives because it has become the “light” version of the Dimocraps. The big money will protect the rinos until the conservatives once again calm down and accept that they are going to be on the losing end.
Rinos, Democrats, and radical Muslims are great at deflection. These groups commit acts of treason, betrayal, and terrorism, and then send out their excuse makers to “quell the rude rabble.” Screw them all! I left the GOP in 2007, but have continued to vote for Republicans because of the sick, worthless alternative. No longer! If I have to vote for some nutball libertarian, or a Green party dumbass, I will do so. It seems we lose no matter who we vote for so the hell with Republicans.

explain to me why the left was able to take over the Dem party but we can’t take over the R party
_______________________________________________________________________________________

Simple: Because the Dems and their leftist allies (or infiltrators- however you want to view it) control Big Tech, Big Corporate America, Big Media, Big Sports, The Gov’t Bureaucracies i.e. CIA, FBI, DOJ- Hollywood, Music Industry, Academia, the bulk of the Republican Establishment...in other words, They spent the past thirty YEARS taking over that party. If you want to do the same, but without the advantages of all of the above, and take 30 YEARS to take over the GOP- be my guest! Ask yourself the following: will the GOP be worthing taking over after spending decades to take it over? And you STILL Won’t have all the advantages the Dems have in terms of controlling the propaganda machine!!

The (Republican) brand is dead
The most important point in this argument.

Branding is important.

Someone ended up holding the Enron name. Would it have made sense to pump millions of dollars in the name, because it was already a “well known brand”?

At least half the country will never vote for a Republican, because they hate the name—the brand.

BINGO!!!! You nailed it and one of the best analogies I’ve seen so far! Thanks

I think if everyone could just pitch in with the talents they have and donate if that’s all one can do, we would be in even better shape. Thank you!
