The Article V state amendments convention could remain a recurring, established feature of the American governing scene by resolving to meet, for instance, every year a few weeks after scotus issues its summer decisions.
Knowing that the only earthly power higher than themselves will immediately look over their shoulders and judge the judges, the rampant and unhinged social justice warrior temperament of scotus will be subdued.
Great Post!
I like it. Okay, annually! Aligned to be after SCOTUS’s month of edicts.
I’m aware of ‘Rat ArtV plans.
No matter, in fact, I think an ArvV could make lemonade out of ‘Rat ArtV plan lemonades.
Consider, their plans gets them in the door too... adds to the 38 needed to get things rolling. Oh, they’ll try and add their poison A’s, repeal the 2A and the like. So what?
Still, takes a ton of states to ratify, with one state one vote.
Again, a COS at this point should await some cleaning house (literally) and Sinate... and some state houses/sinates as well (like here in MA). All this I’m optimistic to be happening.
Knowing that the only earthly power higher than themselves will immediately look over their shoulders and judge the judges, the rampant and unhinged social justice warrior temperament of scotus will be subdued.
Perfect move as the Supreme Court is now known to be compromised and can no longer be trusted as the ultimate arbitrator. If you've read the Time Magazine thing you know the crap's run so deep we who follow laws, decency and fairness are at a severe disadvantage confronting such organized evil.
