President Biden is currently reviewing whether or not to revoke former President Donald Trump’s access to classified briefings.
Modern-day presidents in the United States typically continue to receive classified intelligence briefings even after they leave the White House.
Biden press secretary Jen Psaki on Monday indicated the matter was currently being looked into.
“This is a good question,” Psaki told reporters. “It’s something that’s obviously under review.”
Critics of the former president have indicated Trump can not be trusted with some of the perks that are often granted to those who once served the American people.

That is a mistake, one that smacks of insecurities. A President has insights into the events during his/her administration no one else has experienced. A wise person, even a criminal occupier, might look to a predecessor’s wisdom in certain situations. Situations that predecessor would only be privy to if kept up to date.
Agreed, I’ve seen clearances pulled or denied for far less than things bammy acknowledges he did.

The rule/law about classified information going to a just departed former president is this: It is the present president who determines if the recent past president gets this classified information. It was Biden’s decision to make and he did - no classified info. to Trump.
