Orwell's Ministry of Truth would be proud of such a headline. It's as ridiculously oxymoronic as burning a village to save it, or increasing the weekly chocolate ration from 10 grams to 5 grams.
Akin to: Preserving children's future by murdering them or saddling them with insurmountable debt; Promoting "good government" by promoting immorality; Opposing racism by imputing guilt based upon skin color; Combating "hate" by promoting hate of a race and or upholding Biblical morality; Preserving Democracy by silencing opposition; etc.
