Three economists lambasted a New York Times op-ed claiming that the Democratic Party is better for the economy than the GOP.

Times senior writer David Leonhardt’s main argument was that “The American economy has performed much better under Democratic administrations than Republican ones, over both the last few decades and the last century.” Economists ripped apart the op-ed as “nonsense,” “intellectually sloppy,” and filled with “numerous false claims.”

The piece further argued that Democrats have been more “pragmatic” by being “willing to heed economic and historical lessons about what policies actually strengthen the economy, while Republicans have often clung to theories that they want to believe — like the supposedly magical power of tax cuts and deregulation.”

The NYT is long past the time that people who actually can think believe their articles.

After all, they are journalism majors. Duh.

Partner, the NY Slimes paper can not even write a thing that is worth the paper it is written on.

The former senator of Mass. has had a major plastic surgery to straighten out his point little ole jaw.

Yes, I am talking about former senator John Kerry said he has to travel to all these countries in his private jet. He has to travel all the time to do his government job.

The NY Slines will not write one thing about this hippocrite, John Kerry.

Democrats have been more “pragmatic” by being “willing to heed economic and historical lessons.

So the NYT thinks the Obama years were the wonderful years they got to be smoking something really nasty.

A simpletons analysis could lead to this old canard.

Most of the effect comes from the growth from the eventual recovery from the Great Depression, through the post WWII surge when almost no other major powers had an economy.
