CHARLOTTE, N.C. — As people prepare to get vaccinated, the North Carolina Department of Health and Human Services (NCDHHS), the Mecklenburg County Health Department and the Rowan County Health Department have released information on the possible side effects of the Pfizer and Moderna vaccines.

Here is what NCDHHS has to say about the differences between the Pfizer and Moderna vaccines:
Content Continues Below The Pfizer and Moderna vaccines work the same way to prevent people from getting COVID-19. In addition, both vaccines require two doses and both are very effective in preventing someone from getting COVID-19. The clinical trial showed no serious safety concerns.
The vaccines are stored differently. The Moderna vaccine does not need to be stored as cold as the Pfizer vaccine, so more providers will be able to easily use it. While both vaccines require two doses, the time between doses is different. The Moderna vaccine doses are given 4 weeks apart. The Pfizer vaccine doses are given 3 weeks apart. Who can get the vaccine is also different. The Moderna vaccine is authorized for adults aged 18 and older. The Pfizer vaccine is authorized for people aged 16 and older.
The temporary reactions are similar for both vaccines. Temporary reactions may include a sore arm, headache and feeling tired and achy for a day or two after receiving the vaccine. More people who were in the Moderna clinical trial experienced these temporary reactions. The reactions are more common after the second dose than the first dose. Younger people are more likely to have reactions than older people. Neither vaccine can give you COVID-19.

That’s great to know! Hubby & me are both early 70’s.
2nd shot is coming up on the 14th. I’ll take a few side effects over getting the stupid Chinese virus 👍
Thank you all for your feedback.
Well now that’s pretty sh_tty.
I had the first dose already, and had five days of chills and lightheadedness from it. I will receive the second dose in a couple weeks. My doctor said the second dose is worse...
My wife and I (both 80 something) got our first dose Sunday.
I had basically zero impact at the injection site. My wife was a little sore for 48 hours.
My main complaint was light headiness. That could be due to all of the allergens in the air in N. California after a week of rain. Yesterday the light headiness disappeared after lunch.
Last night was the best night sleep we both had since the injections. No hot flashes/cold flashes or laying there awake.
The second shot apparently packs a wallop for some of us as per the link below:
The Second COVID-19 Shot Is a Rude Reawakening for Immune Cells
Side effects are just a sign that protection is kicking in as it should.
KATHERINE J. WU, FEBRUARY 2, 2021
At about 2 a.m. on Thursday morning, I woke to find my husband shivering beside me. For hours, he had been tossing in bed, exhausted but unable to sleep, nursing chills, a fever, and an agonizingly sore left arm. His teeth chattered. His forehead was freckled with sweat. And as I lay next to him, cinching blanket after blanket around his arms, I felt an immense sense of relief. All this misery was a sign that the immune cells in his body had been riled up by the second shot of a COVID-19 vaccine, and were well on their way to guarding him from future disease.
Side effects are a natural part of the vaccination process, as my colleague Sarah Zhang has written. Not everyone will experience them. But the two COVID-19 vaccines cleared for emergency use in the United States, made by Pfizer/BioNTech and Moderna, already have reputations for raising the hackles of the immune system: In both companies’ clinical trials, at least a third of the volunteers ended up with symptoms such as headaches and fatigue; fevers like my husband’s were less common.
Dose No. 2 is more likely to pack a punch—in large part because the effects of the second shot build iteratively on the first. My husband, who’s a neurologist at Yale New Haven Hospital, is one of many who had a worse experience with his second shot than his first.
But much like any other learning process, in this one repetition is key. When hit with the second injection, the immune system recognizes the onslaught, and starts to take it even more seriously. The body’s encore act, uncomfortable though it might be, is evidence that the immune system is solidifying its defenses against the virus.
“By the second vaccine, it’s already amped up and ready to go,” Jasmine Marcelin, an infectious-disease physician at the University of Nebraska Medical Center, told me. Fortunately, side effects resolve quickly, whereas COVID-19 can bring on debilitating, months-long symptoms and has killed more than 2 million people.

Not defending the vaccines, but many meds have very long lists of possible serious even life threatening side effects. I usually don’t give them much thought, but some were so potentially bad I opted not to take them. But as for the vaccine, I do think the risks are pretty small that something will. Happen as far as we lknow anyway, but that might change. Hopefully not though. Millions are already vaccinated, without any apparent serious side effects, while only a few have had reactions, so at the very least, that is a bit of sort of encouraging news I guess. Its still not even avai.able I. Our neck of the woods, so haven’t even had to think about it
Question. If she had covid, then why get the vaccine?
32,780,860 doses of covid-19 vaccine have been administered already. Is any vaccine 100% safe? I doubt it.
Have you heard of 1% deaths from the covid-19 vaccines?
That would require 327,808 deaths. I have not. So if 3 nurses got affected, out of how many medical people vaccinated?
Heck driving the car is more risky than any vaccine ever has. So in life the wiser choice is to play the odds.
Crappy decision to have to make though huh? Kinda I. The same situation as you are myself
As a booster of immunity perhaps.
Thank you for that informative post.
Oh that could be, didn’t think of that, thanks
Heck driving the car is more risky than any vaccine ever has. So in life the wiser choice is to play the odds.
My cousins and I learned that from our Maternal Grandfather. That was his standard lecture/lesson/gift for those of us after our high school graduation.
This is the point. You are not going to have a reaction to getting the vaccine now. Animal tests in similar vaccines have shown that the reaction occurs when you are exposed to a corona virus AFTER receiving the vaccine. Causes your body to turn on itself. We're a bunch of guinea pigs.
My parents got shot number one. They’ll get two in another week or so.
I am NEVER taking this vaccine. I have translated tons of pharmaceutical trials and they spend YEARS waiting and logging any adverse event and the first one they see makes a phase 2 or 3 be halted and restarted. It’s far too short a time period.
“..possible side effects of the Pfizer and Moderna vaccines”
Yeah, like DEATH!
Why would ANYONE take the chance? WHY?
There are all kinds of therapeutics to PREVENT and CURE this virus, so why would you risk your life on a vaccine that may KILL YOU and NOT PROTECT YOU?
ABSURD, INSANE, Lining up for Soylent Green.
you are a liar.
i did not say it had DNA,
it has mRNA which when adenylated enters the human nucleus.
now WHY would you push Gates, WHO’s, Xi, and FauXi’s patents
which are for BOTH the new viruses (want the next one, too?)
and the vaccines (”dual use” vaccines).
Covid is a designer virus. It’s diabolical release is paired with its “designer” RNA vaccine. All the while, the Covid test PCR cycle setting is officially being reduced from 35-40 to at least half that, to make this plandemic disappear soon. Anyone thinking of getting the vaccine, Pfizer or Moderna, would do well to check out the government’s VAERs site for adverse events. Merck also was well along with a vaccine, and they’ve wisely cancelled it.
That said, YMMV. Those of us that won’t go near this krap, and try our best to prevent family and friends from going near it, have done some digging into the dark side of this issue. We can bring others to the pond. Whether they sip or drink the information at the pond (do your due diligence) is up to them.
Up to you to get this vac. Godspeed to you.
IMHO, those knowingly administering it while not getting it themselves are guilty of war crimes.
Good question. Many answers.
1. People still watching CNN/NBC/ABC/PBS and FOX(!)
2. Unaware of the Great Awakening versus the Great Reset, Schwab and his gang
3. Thinking that imposter China Joe will actually continue to be president for 4 years, so this is a way "out"
4. your guess is as good as mine...
A simple point...32,780,860 doses of covid-19 vaccine have been administered already.
If 1% died from the vaccine, that would be 327,800 deaths. Even Biden regime can not keep that hidden if 327,000 had died from vaccine.
To conclude, if the vaccines are 99.9% safe, which is more risky? The vaccine or getting infected and getting sick from covid-19?
Draw your own conclusions.
