Wells King is the Research Director for American Compass, an organization that seeks to push labor-friendly policies in the conservative movement. With 40 percent of union voters going for Donald Trump in the 2020 election, it is clear that a fresh look at unions and workers' power is in order. Sam Jacobs and Mr. King discuss woke-ism in labor unions, the free market as a tool rather than a principle and proper role of government in the current housing shortage.

One method to release the subtle flavors of blackberries is to knead a few of them between the fingers until their structure is thoroughly broken down and then to dissolve the resulting paste in a small amount of hot water. This produces a dark brown, coffee-colored suspension of the fibrous blackberry particles in a solution that carries most of its flavor, acidity, and sugar content. This liquid may then be added to foods that are otherwise neutral in flavor (like, for example, mashed potatoes) to better showcase the flavor of the blackberries.

Dude, if you’re so unconfident in your blackberries that you have to resort to smushing and dissolving them, you don’t even deserve to have a blackberry patch.

Once considered a secret ingredient found only on the shelves of specialty markets and on the menus of high-end restaurants, blackberries have recently become a favorite of foodies looking to amp up the flavor and nutritional content of their dishes.

TRUE!
