Senator Cruz is an example of a Republican who will never win a national election and especially moving forward after the 2020 election. Democrats BRAZENLY used EVERY TRICK in their bag to steal victory in November 2020. And they did it without a hint of shame.
In this week’s video, Senator Ted Cruz accused President Donald Trump of spouting “overheated rhetoric” about the election and failing to present evidence of voter fraud.
Starting at the 16:52 mark of the January 25th, 2021 episode of Verdict with Ted Cruz, Senator Ted Cruz states the following:
Senator Ted Cruz: “President Trump’s rhetoric, I think, went way too far over the line. I think it was both reckless and irresponsible because he said repeatedly—and he said over and over again—he won by a landslide; there was massive fraud; it was all stolen everywhere. That evidence, the campaign did not prove that in any court, and to make a determination about an election it has to be based on the evidence, and so simply saying the result you want, that’s not responsible and you’ve never heard me use language like that. What I’ve said is voter fraud is real, and we need to examine the evidence, and look at the actual facts; and in particular, what is the evidence of how much voter fraud occurred, and did it occur in sufficient quantities and in sufficient states to alter the outcome of the election. That would have been the mandate of the election commission; to assess.”
And later around the 25-minute mark, he refers to the events of January 6th, 2021 as “a terrorist attack on the United States Capital.”
Republicans better wake up! They either act now or the GOP will be the minority party in the United States moving forward.
He’ll get no support from me
Remember when, in 2016, the ‘holy’ Ted Cruz, gathered together ‘300’ preachers for hire to give him a Gideon style victory in South Carolina .... I got a great laugh over their pretentiousness, because they ignored what instrument of victory was used to tear down the walls of Jericho ... Trumpets ... Donald J. Trump, trumped the weasel from Canada ... that brilliant mind trained at Harvard.
Christ spoke a full chapter on those that sit in the seat of Moses ... the ‘law giver’, obviously Ted the fraud has never read.

Time for a new party. Tonight Officer Tatum had it with the world and quit He said he wasn’t moving to any other platform just wanted out. Ranted about censorship then closed channel.
“No court would allow the presentation of evidence.”
That is my understanding, and waht I smack liberals with their “no court” bullshiite.
You are correct imho
The GP article says, "In this week’s video, Senator Ted Cruz accused President Donald Trump of spouting 'overheated rhetoric' about the election and failing to present evidence of voter fraud."
Not true! Here is the actual quote:
"Going into this election, coming out of this election, we have seen overheated rhetoric, like crazy, on both sides of the political aisle."The rest of Cruz's statement on election fraud is consistent with his previous statements that there has been no Due Process to examine the evidence of election fraud. Since the courts did not review the evidence, he proposed a 10-day Election Commission to review the evidence. Here is the quote:
"The Democrats and the news media -- and sadly the news media is now just part of the Democratic party -- they are one. Their talking point is there is no voter fraud; it doesn't exist, and for you to say “voter fraud” is just -- I mean it's amazing you read any newspaper article and, any time there's a reference to voter fraud, I think the editor's mandate they put in “which is totally baseless and false.” And look, voter fraud has been a persistent challenge in elections, and the media narrative that it doesn't exist and you can't say it exists, it is weird rewriting history. Now, listen on the other hand, President Trump's rhetoric, I think, went way too far over the line. I think it was both reckless and irresponsible because he said repeatedly – you know, he said over and over again -- he won by a landslide, there was massive fraud, it was all stolen everywhere.I also did not like the reference to the June 6 Capitol trespassers as "terrorists," but he said it in the context of Democrats being hypocrites by supporting Antifa/BLM riots."That evidence, the campaign did not prove that in any court, right, and to make a determination about an election, it has to be based on the evidence, and so simply saying the result you want, that's not responsible, and you've never heard me use language like that.
"What I've said is voter fraud is real, and we need to examine the evidence and look at the actual facts, and in particular, what is the evidence of how much voter fraud occurred, and did it occur in sufficient quantities and in sufficient states to alter the outcome of the election. That would have been the mandate of the election commission to assess. And you know one of the things I pointed out on the senate floor, Reuters polling shows 39 percent of Americans believe the election was rigged. That's a terrifying statistic, and I tried to make the case to Democrats. I said, look, you should want this commission because that's not good for our nation, it's not good for our country, to go forward with nearly half of the country believing that our democracy is fraudulent. We need to re-establish faith and trust in the democracy, and I think having a process to consider the evidence and the facts would have helped in that regard."

Ted should have kept his wagging tongue still... but, he simply hyperventilates at any possibility to see his name in the media. There is not one shred of ‘wisdom’ behind those snaky eyes.
Lyn’ Ted rears his ugly head again. Is there anyone on FR to defend him?
All Texans need to call his office. Equating Jan 6 to a terrorist act is despicable. 911 was a terrorist attack. The Boston Marathon was a terrorist attack. I’m so sick of these turncoats. Flood his office with calls. The people at the capital were not terrorists and it’s highly irresponsible for him to say this. He talks about Trumps words, what about his own.
Sorry, but I don’t trust Rudy either, he let 9-11 go with no examination, except that stupid report. He was good at fixing the city squigi guys, granted, just too many questions surrounding why he had an office at ground zero at time of the attack, bldg 7, etc etc
One does not need a 1,000 post thread, IF they are the slightest bit familiar with our Constitution. Ted is not nor will he ever be a ‘natural born US citizen’... Only both his parents could bestow that ‘right’ to him, and they did NOT.
Incredibly stupid statement. The courts wouldn’t even take up the cases or look at the evidence.
All children born abroad have an immigration file, we need to see Ted’s, we don’t know exactly how or when he acquired US citizenship, there is paperwork, we need to see it.
Sad to witness good turn to evil.
I loved his Liberty U speech. I fell hook line and sinker. I have misjudged everyone (except Bannon for some strange reason).
So, knowing what I do now, betrayal after betrayal, I’ll Just trust the majority of Freepers. Y’all get it right.
Thank you everyone!
So was Winston Churchill’s.
Rudy may not have been the best choice—by a long shot. Read this account by Paytrick Byrne, who was a part of the team. (Former CEO of Overstock.com.)
Many good links to information at his site as well. This is one part of a larger piece he is writing.
Who were those terrorists that attacked the Capitol on January 6th? Who were those guys that really stirred up the crowd and fought against the police? Who were those who yelled, “It’s time to go!” as they pushed into the Capitol Building doorway?
