Will Senators Who Vote Donald Trump " Guilty" be Committing Treason?

We are in a war in which our Iranian enemy had pleaded with unspecified individuals or groups for help removing President Donald Trump from office. There were even unofficial reward offers, such as a multi-million dollar bounty , for killing President Trump.

The Democrats' attempt to use impeachment to remove President Trump from office would have given our Iranian enemy's leaders what they said they wanted . Wouldn't that mean the Democrats would have given aid and comfort to our Iranian enemy? Isn't giving our enemy ''Aid and Comfort " what the Constitution calls "treason" ( Art III Sec 3) ?

Will Senators who vote Donald Trump " guilty" be committing treason ( giving our enemy ''Aid and Comfort ") by telling our Iranian enemies they will no longer have to worry about dealing with President Donald Trump?

The last and only man executed for treason against the U.S. was in 1862 in New Orleans for the crime of pulling down the Stars and Stripes at the New Orleans Mint as the Union army was taking the city.

He was tried by a military tribunal and executed a few days later.

So to answer your question, No.

Someone in the last several weeks was saying
“10 days of Darkness” in
Concert with Trump calling
for a military assessment of the Election,
I’m not dreaming,
Perhaps a “Q” Flashback.
.
Does that help?

No.

They might be committing political suicide, but they wouldn't be committing treason.

C'mon, man.

True if we took back the house and senate we could reverse it.

It’s highly likely the impeachment will fail given that 45 GOP senators already voted that it was unconstitutional. They don’t have the votes.

They likely don’t have the votes to use the 14th amendment to declare Trump ineligible either as they would need to overcome a filibuster.

Treason? Maybe, but they will definitely be violating their oath to the Constitution.

Indeed, it doesn’t matter squat. Regardless of what you call it, they’ll do as they please with big proud smiles on their faces.

What difference, at this point, does it make. All of the demokrats and some of the republicans violated their oath of office in that they allowed and voted for unconstitutional actions. They all know full well that the vote fraud in the 2020 election was rampant, yet they voted to accept fraudulent electors. There cannot possibly be one congress-critter who truly believes that the 2020 vote was fair and honest. Give them all a lie detector test. Ask if the 2020 election was fraudulent. Those who fail the test should be hung as traitors.
