Looking to relocate to SE Tenneessee

My husband and I are recently retired and looking to relocate to the southeastern area of Tennessee, somewhere near the vicinity of Delano. If anyone would share tips, i.e. locale, realtor options, I would be grateful.

Can’t be any help, but I thought nearby Etowah was beautiful, and only one hour from ‘Nooga when the urban itch needed scratching :-)

Why not Florida? The NW panhandle is as red as red can get and lots of good like-minded folks where Tenn has filled up with half-backs( NY’ers that stopped half way to Florida).

Look at Townsend, Vonore, Greenback, Tellico Plains...
All near the mountains, trout fishing, hiking, beautiful spring and fall colors....

Polk County, Bradley County, McMinn ... The whole area is lovely. I recommend looking around the Chattanooga area, as well. If you are looking for a rural setting, Rhea, Sequatchie, and Marion counties are also good spots.
