I contributed as well (post #15). And in a way you’ve got to feel a bit sorry for the original poster, and for all original posters. You post something serious, and then the next thing you know it’s Comedy Central.
But it’s the American way to find something humorous in every situation. I really think it’s one thing that makes us strong.
This is what makes Free Republic a fun place. I like almost all the replies. That frisbee throw of mine back in 1985 was truly epic and it’s been a while since I told that story. That was the same summer I owned an AMC Pacer. I have a lot of stories about that. But the best story about the Pacer was when I got a company car, I could not sell it or even give it away. I took it to a junkyard and the guy just shook his head no. So I took the plates off and left it abandoned on a side street somewhere in Somerville, MA.
