3 in 4 Americans Favor ‘Significant Restrictions’ on Abortion, Poll Finds

A new Knights of Columbus/Marist Poll finds that 76% of Americans, including 55% who identify as pro-choice, support “significant restrictions” on abortion.

The survey of 1,173 adults, conducted Jan. 11 to 13, found that 53% of Americans identify as pro-choice, while 43% say they are pro-life. The views split along party lines with only 20% of Democrats considering themselves pro-life. By contrast, 78% of Republicans say they are pro-life.

It has been that way for decades. What have we got for our troubles? The GOP got their tax cuts and we got 30 million abortions and lost our second amendment rights. But let’s keep voting for Republicans. They’ll do us right the next time. Grrrr
