These Q’ers always seemed kind of queer to me.
Stupid dinosaur jumping rope.
C’mon man!
:S
My (personal) issues with Q:
1. The ratio of ‘things Q has said that have come true’ vs ‘things Q has said that have not come true’ is atrocious. Q’s veracity is thus questionable.
2. From a logical PoV, I find it interesting that most people who follow Q never wonder ‘what if’ Q is some troll making fun and taking advantage over the fact that many Conservatives can be quite trusting (and thus, maybe a bit on the naive side). Even in bloody Uganda there were troll farms targeting voters there with all sort of silly stuff. Why not in the US, a more sophisticated place where it’s easier to disseminate whatever information one wants? Maybe Q was a college student in 4Chan (seriously guys, the whole thing started on 4Chan!) laughing his head off posting that Hillary has been arrested, George Soros is in trouble, and JFK jr is out somewhere galavanting ...
3. And then it gets nefarious - what if Q is not some college student (or group of trolls) on 4Chan but rather some massive psyops campaign by an anti-Trump group? This has been done before in other countries, whereby domestic or foreign intelligence agencies pump out targeted disinformation meant to result in some intended action. For Q, a consistent message was ‘trust the plan.’ No matter what was happening, ‘trust the plan.’ Even if the election was slipping away, ‘trust the plan.’ Even though it was clear the Electoral Votes were going a certain way, or the legislatures weren’t acting, or the courts weren’t listening, or President Trump’s defense was really struggling ...’trust the plan.’ People were lulled into inaction as they waited and ‘trusted’ a ‘plan’ that never materialized.
4. Even now they are still trusting the plan. A FReeper I shall not name (but you can see her post #78 on a thread titled ‘What Happened to the Storm’) actually believes that President Trump is still riding in presidential vehicles, taking ‘late nights flights in military planes,’ and is in possession of the nuclear football!!!! Yes, they are still ‘trusting the plan.’ I have honestly only seen such behavior in people in a doomsday cult who have to mentally adjust to waking up on the 25th when their prophet said the world would end on the 24th. Absolute refusal of reality.
5. All of the above point to Q being a) an individual or group of people pumping out highly erroneous information that for the most part hasn’t come true, b) a college student or similar that have been having lots of fun releasing fake information to the gullible, and c) a Deep State psyops campaign to ‘manage’ Conservative reactions and make them more placid and less likely to cause friction as Biden headed toward the presidency.
A psyops campaign like no other.
The two things that I find a real mystery though are the following:
A) Why JimRob lets Q have such a big voice on FreeRepublic?
B) Even if Q is a legitimate pro-Trump person with super-secret clearance (he’s not, but let’s assume he is), why those who believe in Q wouldn’t expect the Deep State to find out who he is and replace him, or even if they couldn’t find him (say he’s super good) why they couldn’t just start release fake messages in his name? As in, even if it was all legit - which it is not, but let’s assume it was - why they didn’t think the DS wouldn’t just usurp Q’s channels and pump out disinformation?
Ya know, with all my heart I WISH it was true.
But I’m not seeing any of it pan out.
Praying to God that I’ll end up wrong.
NOTHING would make me happier.
/no longer holding my breath
Q is bunch of horsecrap.
I think most know it.
If the Q tards want to trust something try Jesus.
The Q drops claimed Q was military intelligence, mostly: 10 people of whom only 3 were non-miltiary.
Ha ha!
Q: We have insider knowledge of the NEXT BIG THING.
(Nothing of the sort ever happens.)
Q: OK not that one, but definitely this NEXT BIG THING.
(repeat)
“Q” diminishes FR. A lot.
Luke it or not it is true that nothing can stop what is coming.
An understatement. Q along with all the other conspiracy qrap that people fantasize about. I sludge through the mud to find the good posts and information, but I haven't mentioned FR to anyone in years. It's become that bad.
It really does diminish FR, and I fully agree it does by a lot. Makes the site seem like yet another dump of endless conspiracies that anyone with a mind can see are not true (and even if one wants to give them the benefit of a doubt, unfortunately that is difficult as well because so few of those given before have come true).
My belief is maybe at the beginning of Q several senior people in FR believed there might be some veracity to it, and thus let it stand. After all, ‘who knows’ plus hope is a powerful emotion.
However, time has passed and it’s quite clear Q - even if it is not enemy psyops, which I think it is - was a dud.
Now what Q is claiming is ‘something is going to happen on March 4th.’ When that date arrives, they will next say something will happen on this and that date ...and then that and this date ...and one day they will simply stop posting since their job is done and mischief achieved.
People got conned, and the sooner they realize that and stop propagating the con the better it will be. While it hurts, there’s nothing explicitly shameful in getting conned. Happens all the time.
However to continue to propagate a con is simply stupidity.
Try looking in the mirror for a change.
People were/are desperate for hope and answers and now we’ll living in the twilight zone.
Q may right, we may be crazy, but its not the current lunatic we’re looking for...
