Don’t worry, this lonely stretch of track will soon see thousands of tanker cars traveling its rails. They’ll be hauling Canadian oil down to the Gulf and empty cars back up to Alberta, burning up a lot of hateful fossil fuel in the process.
Jason Kenney, the leader of the Canadian province of Alberta “noted that without the pipeline, oil must be transported to Gulf Coast refineries by truck or train, both of which are sources of much higher emissions.”
Funny isn’t it, the President of the party that claims to champion “the working man” and the environment cancelled the Keystone XL Pipeline on day one thereby screwing both, along with our ally to the North, with one stroke of his mighty pen.
“He added that Biden’s move kills thousands of union labor jobs on both sides of the U.S.-Canada border and counterintuitively makes the United States more dependent on ‘dictatorships’ for its energy needs.”
Kenney noted how Biden’s move to cancel the pipeline could force refineries in Southern U.S. states to rely on oil from the Maduro regime in Venezuela. “I don’t see how that’s in the interests of the United States,” Kenney said.
C’mon man! Learn to code
Might I suggest they first learn to read and use those skills to carefully go through the platform of the guy they send money to. Specifically look for sections titled “Green New Deal.”
They don’t call it “Liberal Logic” for naught
Unless, that is, you want to learn to code.
File the above story under “when they tell you who they are, believe them,” cross referenced with “don’t be fooled again” and “too late now buddy.”

Move to WA State.
In my city, it is 80% plus union.
Boeing here (for now). Add teachers, grocery workers, public employees, construction, refinery, longshoremen, etc.
So corrupt.
Can’t some bunch sue Biden Admin for unconstitutional overreach in the EO that cancelled the pipeline. Trump EOs got sued all the time
Corporations have gotten very clever in avoiding unions.
Off-shoring is one approach.
Sub-contracting (personal contracts or group contracts) is another approach.
Then there are robots and computer software replacing humans.
Unions are horse and buggy now, about to become relics like the Neanderthals.
Large international corporations have also figured out it is cheaper to bribe .gov officials than to pay union wages—the Democrats pay lip service to unions while obeying their corporate masters.
Seattle enjoyed a great boom for several decades—the unions were able to ride that wave.
The Biden crash is gonna get super ugly—and a generation from now young people won’t even know what the word “union” means.
And we know how much Biden loves trains!
That would require republicans with cajones.
I think they’re rarer than unicorns.
And besides, the republicans are pocketing the coin again now so why rock the boat?
Well played!
Might want to check with the folks in Lac Megantic about that...

Pale Man Bad
.
Didn’t Obama say there is nothing Biden couldn’t f**k up it turns out to be true.
The new push for a Federal $15/hour wage is part of the scam. The SEIU has asked for an exemption. So the pitch is “Hey Mr. small business, wanna avoid the $15/hr rule? Become a union shop.”
There are a lot more people employed by small businesses than big businesses.
Then there’s the unionization of State & Local employees.
