Clarity in Trump's Wake
American Greatness ^ | January 19, 2021 | Angelo Codevilla

"Either the Constitution matters and must be followed . . . or it is simply a piece of parchment on display at the National Archives." — Texas v. Pennsylvania et al.

Texas v. Pennsylvania et al. did not deny setting rules for the 2020 election contrary to the Constitution. On December 10, 2020, the Supreme Court discounted that. By refusing to interfere as America’s ruling oligarchy serves itself, the court archived what remained of the American republic’s system of equal justice. That much is clear.

Problem is, the Republican Party apparatus loathes and despises Trump as much as the Democrats do...and by association, despise us as well.

Why waste a vote on folks who pretend to fight for us, only to get to Washington (and, in my case, Austin) and just want to go to the same Cocaine-and-Adrenochrome parties the Dems do?

It is a long read, but worth it.

Trump is NOT the answer. It’s over for him. He failed to clean out when he had the chance, as the author points out. The author reminds us that Americans need to associate to take back local power in their states, but not stop with elections. In addition, new groups of Americans need to recapture the local institutions, including schools, from the oligarchs.

To Liberals, Trump-haters and The Fake News Media (but I repeat myself), The Constitution is like The Pirates' Code. A loose set of guidelines than a set of hard and fast rules.

They're a bunch of Capt. Barbossas and we are all Will Turner's.

And, every so often, a Capt. Jack Sparrow comes along and beats the pirates at their own game and they go bat soup crazy.

To most, the Constitution is nothing but a historical document. Their oath is absolutely meaningless. They can just as easily pledge their fealty to the comic in a bubble gum wrapper

“To Liberals, Trump-haters and The Fake News Media...”
A Gore at one time called it a “living Document” changeable as per current needs.

It’s not over for Trump. I doubt he will run again but he will choose those who do.

There ya go. Weird Owl Gore is just like Capt. Barbossa. Except Capt. Barbossa has aged better.

He may have that chance, but it’s pretty clear the Deep State is working hard to be sure that no one will ever want to be associated with him ever again.

Including hurting his businesses, his friends’ businesses, and his supporters’ businesses because in America, hurting the wallet is the best way to guarantee you will never hear from someone again....

Yep, if comes out and campaigns for or against somebody in a primary, that will probably be the deciding factor over the next couple of election cycles.

The Republican Party ARE oligarchs, using the article’s terms. And using the article’s advice we must flee them.

It’s time for a new party.

The best data I’ve found is that Trump actually had 80 million to 100 million votes. At least a third and maybe half of Biden’s 60 million true votes would have fled if they knew the facts of the Biden Crime Family. Projecting the new party getting 3/4 of Trump’s vote and a 1/4 of Biden’s it would definitely win with true votes.

So a major national rally MUST be true votes. THIS can and should be an issue we rally about nationally. THIS is where we need a leader(s) the article spoke of.

THANK YOU for posting. Lengthy, but the best analysis I’ve encountered. More analysis of the oligarchs and what keeps them together and unified is needed. Also more vision and strategies of a post-oligarch America.

The problem is that RINOs are AHs. And the asses thought that what they wanted is NOTTRUMP. Well they got what they asked for and it is not exactly working out for them. Bargaining power in DC comes from being the legitimate representative of a constituency. And the 75 million Trump voters have repudiated the RINOs as their representatives.

So while they hold a significant minority position, they have little real power because the democrats no that they no longer represent a substantial constituency. The clueless twits did it to themselves thinking they were being so clever, which is not a good thing for a barstool hugging RINO to try. It was the ultimate hold muh scotch and soda and watch this move.

The problem with starting a new party, is that you need the combination of compelling politicians to run, plus you have to have a governing philosophy.

The last major party to form was the Republican Party. It was basically disaffected Whigs (and a handful of northern Democrats) who were anti-slavery, and thought the Whigs were too pablum and wishy-washy (sound familiar?).

They had John Fremont for a candidate in 1856, then managed to turn Abraham Lincoln into a National Figure.

The problem with a Trump Patriot party would be that it all depends on the personality of Donald Trump. It would go the way of the Teddy Roosevelt's Bull Moose Party or the Ross Perot's Reform Party.

Best thing I have read. Yes, it’s long but very worthwhile. The point at the end that it is not enough to become politically active is one I wish more Americans would understand.

I am still reading the article.

That said, I don't know if it is over for Trump. He was clearly in over his head in that he had no idea just how profoundly great was the power of the Ruling Elite in our country.

The professor is correct in that Trump suffered from what Teddy R called the most self-destructive of habits (unbridled tongue with unready hand), but Trump was not a politician...and his learning curve was exponentially steep.

Now I'm not saying Trump will make a return, but he is a fighter. And he now knows where a lot of the bodies are buried and has a very clear knowledge of the enemy (the Oligarchy or Ruling Elite).

And Trump has a following and knows how to inspire them.

I agree that Trump has a following and knows how to inspire them, especially considering the fear and rage of Nancy et al. There is no other way to explain the hysteria over the incidents at the Capitol.

I have been wondering how he will handle knowing what he knows.

I am in favor of a long, drawn out impeachment trial myself, so that we can determine for ourselves the forces truly behind what happened Jan. 6.
