What free world?
I believe most of the OP is correct but there’s some chance that the consequences for you as freedom-loving individuals will be less “gulag” and more plain ignoring — the left can confidently predict that already in place demographic trends and further voting fraud will guarantee them long intervals if not permanent power.
They won’t need to oppress you, they will just ignore you, after analyzing that our in-house discussions actually never leave the reservation. We are only talking to ourselves and that total number is slowly decreasing because many of us are aging out.
This is more than just theory. This is how conservatism died in Britain and in Canada. Do you see any gulags there? No. Do you hear about any conservative political activity? Not much, right? Because there isn’t much. Once people are pushed into the gulag of silence, their natural instinct is to turn on each other.
I see signs of this happening already. People calling other like-minded patriots (or pro-Americans) traitors, agents of Soros, sellouts if they question even one aspect of the situation.
That can be instructive. We need to stick together and trust one another. We have enough real enemies without inventing new ones.

The approach in Canada is that normal folks just use the black market to avoid high taxes, travel over the border to get decent medical care, and “game the system” a thousand other ways.
They are pragmatic—most believe it is a better use of their time to hack the system than to fight it.
I happen to believe that the GOP won control of all 3 branches of government in this election
If they had done audits in California and New York, there would have been enough house races won to tip the scale to the GOP.... and if they did audits in Georgia, Loeffler and Perdue would have won
So we’ve got the losers of all 3 branches in control of everything. I don’t think this is such a bad position to be in, with Populism on the rise. All this “in your face” stuff that they’re doing is going to backfire big time... it’s just a matter of when.... They are really pushing their luck with the American people

Truth remains to be seen. How long? who knows.
I’m pretty sure I know what will not happen though.
The Democrats have controlled both houses of Congress and the presidency before, with much bigger margins in both the House and the Senate - most recently when Obama took office. None of these doomsday scenarios took place then. I don’t believe any of them will take place now. We’ll see soon enough, but expecting any drastic change to ever take place in Washington is usually a fool’s hope - whether you want it or dread it.
