I wrote this earlier, that AT is the worst "conservative" alternative to the MSM, though it battles GP for that prize on a daily basis. Between factual errors and poor editing, I've seen better from college newspapers.

Even in Ms Widburgh's article on the comment-closure, she was pretty arrogant:

Second, it’s lovely that many of you came here for the conversation in the comments. To have the comments abruptly turned off was the equivalent of our breaking up your party, the great party at which all the guests were interesting and delightful. We appreciate what an unpleasant shock and disappointment that was, and we hate to be the mean parent who broke up the party but, again, sometimes you have to do what you have to do. (emphasis added)

Huh? What? Who died and made you the Arbiter of All That is Mature?

That said, I am not in favor of the Witch Hunt going on. I'd have preferred for the Invisible Hand to have handled AT vs Dementia Joe's retinue.

I lost interest in American Thinker after about five articles or “thought-pieces” in a row came across as pretty timid or substandard, but I would never agree they should be controlled or edited in any way. See how easy it is for the censors to turn us provisionally against each other?
