And if they think things are fixed because they hounded Trump out of office, they are sadly mistaken.

“The madness of Trump, as bad as it was, it really needed to happen.”

Yes, lower taxes, a booming economy, no new wars, increased status in the world, and a leader who stood up for the country was just so bad.

I still am in disbelief at Obama supporters complaining about narcissism. He’s the ultimate case study. A man that has no skills or resume. Only ego and teleprompter reading who thinks he should run the world.

Trump is Trump but he has successfully built massive real estate all over the world and fixed things no one else could fix. He saw a failing America and fixed many of its problems against impossible odds.

"The madness of Trump"

So, exposing treason, fraud, corruption, lawlessness is maddening. And, treason, fraud, corruption and lawlessness is not, then one has to assume these violations these accepted and entrenched behaviors is perfectly all right.

It is a good article.

This country is in decline because our culture is in decline. We have used technology to enable and/or to justify ourselves in our desire to disobey God's laws to a horrifying extent. We have created a culture that is a reflection of that.

How are we going to get past the fact that we have killed over 50 million babies in this country? And we keep right on doing it, thinking that our laws can trump God's law. We celebrate all forms of depravity, error, sinful behavior, and all the rest of it. We look the other way and pretend that it's all fine.

John Adams: “We have no government armed with power capable of contending with human passions unbridled by morality and religion. Avarice, ambition, revenge or gallantry would break the strongest cords of our Constitution as a whale goes through a net. Our Constitution is designed only for a moral and religious people. It is wholly inadequate for any other.”

The Federalist should be ashamed to feature this buzz word faux analyst.

numb the pain with expensive childcare and pricey wine.

Politicians can help, but we’ve fallen into a hole that will take years at best to dig out of. Legislation and policy can help, but this is much deeper than politics.

The hole might not be so deep and society might've managed better if women had got the vote and not the pill or the pill and not the vote-or if female writers would for God's sake just lay off both and the wine.

There is an old saying which is appropriate to today’s political climate: Shirt Sleeves to Shirt Sleeves in three generations. The generation three removed from me (I’m 75 years of age) converted a mostly agrarian country into a powerhouse industrial and financial nation. They did not look to government to solve their problems or create a utopian society. Rather they looked to the government to protect the nation when necessary and to follow the ideals laid out in the Constitution.

One goal they shared was a desire their children would do better than they did. Unfortunately to accommodate that desire, seemingly more and more power was ceded to the government with the Federal Government getting the lion’s share. For instance, compare the enumerated powers in the Constitution to our Godzilla federal bureaucracy. Note most of that expansion happened in the last 75 years.

We have three branches of government. Perhaps on paper but over riding those three branches is a bureaucracy which has its own inertia. The federal government is entrenched within a 30 mile radius of the capitol. The cadre of fellow travelers there looks at themselves as apart and above the common folk in the hinterlands. It is like a different nation. Perhaps it should be declared a nation state similar to the Vatican. We need face the fact the states are now colonies awaiting the edits to come. If DC becomes a state, we will be lucky to have shirt sleeves left.

It's not a culture clash. It's about those who gain power by promising things to one group of people to be taken from another.

"Vote for me and I'll give you some of the things I take from others under the guise of law."
