ESAD you POS.
That's probably not going to convince too may people reading this thread that you're right. Bless you.
Hopefully the prosthetic legs will insulate him from the swamp infection reaching his brain.
Did I mention that 3 decades later, my son, a retired Navy Captain, was in Somalia in 1993 for the Black Hawk down incident.
My grandson, just graduated from Boston College with a degree in Finance and a minor in Statistics is considering joining the military.
Again, I say to you, you child of alberta...ESAD.
BTW, I'm not trying to convince any FReeper that I'm right and you are wrong.
Any one that agrees with you is a free to do so, you coward.
If we’d had a choice we would have stayed home, but there was a draft in force at the time. So, one day shortly after high school graduation a letter arrived in the mail. It read: Greetings, your friends and neighbors have selected you to represent them in the US Armed Forces...report on (date) to be examined and inducted...under penalty of law.
So, we did what was expected of us, after all our fathers had served during WW-2, now it was our turn. Yet, when most of us came home the ‘friends and neighbors’ who sent us off to fight for them turned their backs, and called us dirty names. They proudly and loudly proclaimed their opposition to the war they sent us to fight. They blamed the war on us, not on LBJ the Democrat President who escalated it over and over. They were opposed to the Vietnam war on a variety of theoretical grounds, while we were even more opposed to the war than they were, and we had the real life blood and guts experience to know exactly why.
Now, after 50 years I’m still proud to have served in the armed forces, I answered when my country called, I just wish it had been for a better cause, and that my country had better leaders. I’m no longer the strong young man I once was, but if Donald Trump asked me I’d go again. If Joe Biden asked I’d laugh and walk away.
“...You should remove the Texas flag from your home page.
How in the hell do you think Texas became part of the USA if not for men willing to die for an idea...”
Nope. Not a coward at all...would fight to defend that Texas, and U.S. flag, to the death. And before all of this is over, we just might have to so. FWIW, family has a loonnnggg history with the military, including the USMC in WWII, Korea and Nam.
When our country has, in essence, been overthrown by outright fraud and communist marxists, are we just supposed to go out and just blindly fight to defend their crap? Theres’ a huge difference in fighting for America and fighting for the whims of some globalist/communist SOBs. We took an oath to defend the Constitution against all enemies, both foreign and domestic. I know where you’re coming from, Alaska. There’s many of us totally pissed off as well. No one should be going out to fight/die for whims of these communist pukes. We need to get our country back.
WE WON THE WAR!! THE F’N DEMOCRATS SOLD MEEEE OUT!
Well.... WHAT did he say?
Thanks. That’s exactly my point.
Great. How's that working out for us? We've imported thousands of those mutants here .. and we're even electing them to Congress now.
My grandson, just graduated from Boston College with a degree in Finance and a minor in Statistics is considering joining the military.
Great. I wish him well. I'm not sure what he intends to do there. Nor do I care. What I can say with almost 100% certainty is that he won't be defending the United States of America.
