In another cancel culture move, it seems Middlebury College wants to revoke Rudy Giuliani’s honorary degree. This seems in line with what Harvard University students want to do and revoke degrees of prominent Trump-affiliated conservatives like Ted Cruz and others.
This was posted as an editorial in the Middlebury College’s student newspaper, the Middlebury Campus:
“…Winning is wonderful. Winning in sports. Winning elections. It beats losing them. But the reality is that winning is only fulfilling if you do it through the rules, and you do it by being able to contribute to other people.” These were the words that Rudy Giuliani spoke in his commencement address to Middlebury’s class of 2005. Then known for his swift response to 9/11 as mayor of New York City, Giuliani received an honorary degree during the ceremony.

If I had one, I’d send that piece of Marxist crap back to them. I wouldn’t want anyone to think I’ve been programmed by a bunch of Marxist “perfersers”.
Proud graduates of Libtard Indoctrination 101 class. Give those little babies a pat on the head for being mindless vessels.
.
Institutes of higher learning have morphed into institutes of brain damaged administrators.
I’m perfectly fine with the indoctrinated youth spending their energies on these kinds of useless activities at this time... as long as it isn’t my kid.
Being a big fish in a little pond doesn’t mean much. A person receiving an honorary degree understands it is a reward for respect from the people that gave it to him for doing his job. It means nothing but a thank you.
So taking it away from him doesn’t hurt him at all. “Throw me in the briar patch.” What it actually does is disrespects the many that thought he had earned it at the time it was voted in. So what is the level of intelligence in not seeing this and acting in such a disrespectful way. It’s called a tantrum. And these children are going to procreate some day. Glad I won’t be around.

End the tax deduction for donations to colleges and universities. While we’re at it, the Republicans should strip all funding (Federal student loans) and research grants to colleges and universities that engage in unconstitutional behavior.
These students were waved through HS with a lightweight diploma. They didn’t has to take standardized tests to enroll in college. Soon they will demand all tests be banned and the colleges will abide.
“Middlebury College”
Then let’s all ban Middlebury College graduates as nothing but a political organization and not a college.
Stated perfectly. Amazing these people spend energy on this stuff. Imagine if they were working and contributing to the GDP.
like Rudy gives a damn
These morons think they’re making a difference.
All of these “symbolic” acts are like peeing in a pool. Might give you a warm feeling for a moment, but it doesn’t make a difference, and also you’re swimming around in your own watered down filth.
Rudy Giuliani should find that worthless diploma and make a video where he says
"I have hear that the Middlebury College's student newspaper wrote an editorial calling for the college to revoke the honorary degree it gave me. When I consider that Middlebury College has devolved from an institution of higher learning into a leftist goon training ground, the diploma is no longer an honor, it is shameful and worthless. It is almost as useless as the humanities degrees that Middlebury College hands out that qualify their recipients to work at Starbucks. I am burning this worthless piece of paper and I encourage the students of Middlebury to get a degree from another institution."<\i>
And then he should light the diploma on fire.
Stalinist purge...
Only if there is a ceremony to undo it and Giuliani is allowed to speak.
