No, We’re Not Going to War with Iran
National Review ^ | 1/15/2021 | Isaac Schorr

Ayear after a U.S. military operation rid this world of the Iranian terrorist-general Qasem Soleimani, the same tired voices are repeating the same tired message, even on the eve of their return to power: “The Trump administration is on the brink of war with Iran!”

“Trump is a very wounded and very cornered animal in an end-game scenario. He’s got a few weeks left, and we know that he is capable of extremely erratic behavior,” says Professor Danny Postel of Northwestern University. After the events of last Wednesday, it’s hard to argue with Postel’s assessment of the president’s psyche. But I still very much doubt that dragging the country into a war is all that high on the president’s to-do list.

*Axiom: The left always blames Trump for what they themselves did, or are planning to do.

I can't imagine it would be very smart of slo' joe to launch a war with iran, nor would it accord with his obama floaters who are directing his actions.

I know the President wouldn't get into a war unless we were directly attacked. But is there a reason for the demoncraps to start one? (see Axiom*)

Isaac Schorr is an idiot. He blithely condemns President Trump for what clearly appears to be a false-flag event at the capitol, while damning the President with faint praise over not committing to war with the Iranians.

NRO is still a diseased nest of never-trumper vipers.

we wont go to war with Iran but if we don’t bomb their nukes out of commission they will (as they have repeatedly promised) level our cities with them

we can take out their nukes and their ICBMs (which are for the stated and obvious purpose of delivering their nukes to USA) ... in less than an hour with no ground invasion troops required

if we fail to eliminate this threat soon, we will seriously regret it. History teaches that dictators and especially Nazi-style dictators like in Iran now.... almost always deliver on their threats

Biden and Kerry will allow Iran to have a bomb. I suppose if I lived in their enemy territory I’d be nervous, but they will probably just trade leaving Israel whole for BILLIONS so they can continue to promote anti-American terrorism. Lose - Lose for us.

It surprises me that what we have learned about the Bush’s & Obama’s basically being owned by the Kingdom of SA that they would allow Iran to have a bomb.

Iran is a direct threat to SA, Kuwait, UAE and all the other Sunni Arab Gulf states. I would believe that it gives these Arab states an even bigger incentive to make an alliance with Israel.
