This guy was enough of a hero to be recognized by POTUS for his actions in the Scalise shooting. This could be a fake story put out to cause Trump supporters to attack a hero so it all blows up in their faces. If it becomes enough of a scandal, the real perp gets away with murder.
Anything is possible. We need the authorities to ID the shooter. Surely there will be a coroners inquest? The family should know his ID.
