Trying to treat GOP as a monolith is common view. That is, the conception that either we have to change GOP as a whole or not. There are state legislatures. They all have apparatus of political party. Change should be done one state GOP by another.

This is better than creating a new party encompassing the entire country or trying to change the character of entire party. Pick up pieces you want and build up. If some are not to your liking, push them aside. The result can be a new overhauled party or a part of what it used to be. Make a new collection of state GOP as big as possible. Then move on.

This is wise advice, Tiger. Thank you. It’s tough to selectively rebuild an aircraft while it’s flying, but it can be done.
