Yesterday I spent 19 of 24 hours on the phone with technical support.
18.9 hours on hold.
When someone picked up it was the tech support person named “Peggy” and they said to reboot.
All is now working.
Because of their article about Amazon Shutting down Parler I went on line and contacted Amazon.. They got real concerned when I told them they could lose 75 million customers if they shut it down.. I said I will be one of them and I said I could live without Amazon Prime!!! They said they were getting a lot of negative feedback about that and that they said there has been no decision yet. I also got a hold of Apple and explained the situation to them we will se what they come back with..
I’m afraid that the Deep State will just follow them down the protocol stack. If they can’t cut off the server, remove their DNS entry. If that doesn’t work, block the IP addresses or cancel their leased lines, etc.
It’s just a wordpress site. Shouldn’t be that big of a deal as long as they kept regular backups. It’s just a bunch of files and sql database. Upload both to new hosting and change the dns to new server. Wait for dns to propagate which takes 12-24 hours these days. Used to be 24-72 several years ago.
