Yeah.. I never could understand that idea of burying you gun in the backyard and saying you lost it.. If it gets to that point then it's already too late.. And you might as well throw your bible in there with it because that'll be next..
The 1776 patriots had 40-45% popular support. 20% sided with Britain. The rest of their countrymen just tried to stay out of it. 40-45%. And what percentage of them were willing to actually fight and die for THEIR cause? What percentage would be willing to fight and die for this cause? 1%? 0.5%? 0.1%? Even less?
The moment a politician says you don't need a gun, is the moment you (a) need your gun and (b) damn' well better use it.
