Jobless Claims See Modest Dip

THE NUMBER OF AMERICANS filing first-time claims for unemployment fell slightly last week, the Labor Department reported Thursday.

Initial jobless claims sat at 787,000, a decrease of 3,000 from the previous week's revised level. The four-week moving average was 818,750, a decrease of 18,750 from the previous week's revised average.

The rate of claims remains elevated as businesses grapple with the effects of the coronavirus amid a recent surge in cases.

With Biden in the WH jobs will be leaving again he said taxes will go up big time and it will wave to jobs good by.
